No offense intended, but daughter says she's happy this isn't Just Hangin' night at the Canteen so she can get to play name those tunes. She and Mrs. I came up with:
Morning is Breaking - Neil Diamond
Night and Day - Sinatra
Saturday Night is the Loneliest Night of the Week - Sinatra
Saturday's Alright (for Fighting) - Elton John
In the Still of the Night - Five Satins
Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars - Antonio Carlos Jobim
Good Night, Sweatheart - The McGuire Sisters
Day Break - Barry Manilow
Day In - Day Out - Sinatra
Day by Day - Sinatra
Rainy Days and Mondays Always Get Me Down - The Mamas and The Papas
September Morn - Neil Diamond
It's a Beautiful Day - Michael Buble.....

Nothing by commie Pete Seeger?

He performed at Obama’s 2009 inauguration, btw.

Pete Seeger is on a few of those on my list. He belonged to the Almanac Singers and the Weavers. In 1941, when Stalin and Hitler were allies, the Almanacs released an anti-war album that included tunes such as "Plow Under," on my list, and
The Ballad of October 16. When Hitler invaded the Soviet Union, the Almanacs turned on a dime and started cranking out pro-war songs such as
Reuben James (1942).
