On Tuesday, Barack Obama admitted that the situation faced by the impoverished residents of American urban centers like Baltimore is a hopeless one.

The Baltimore riots are just more efficient Democrat policy in action. The “progressives” are all about taking from those who are better off than you. The looters are just cutting out the middle man. Their way the politicians and bureaucrats don’t get their cut. More stuff goes to the intended beneficiaries.
Democrats - the ‘thug’ party...
Great post and well articulated!
Oh President Zero. Try again.
The liberal cesspool of Baltimore is exclusively run by Democrats. There is not one single councilman that is a Republican. The mayor is and has been a Democrat. Its people voted 86% Democrat in the last election.
It’s your left-wing paradise that’s failing. Republicans have nothing to do with it.

If I summarize it, it is nothing more than a claim that, “We just need more time to achieve utopia, and we would have been there by now if it weren’t for those standing in our way!”
The same claims that are made by every tyrant in history!

If we are serious about solving this problem, then were going to not only have to help the police, were going to have to think about what can we do, the rest of us, to make sure that were providing early education to these kids. To make sure that were reforming our criminal justice system so its not just a pipeline from schools to prisons. So that were not rendering men in these communities unemployable because of a felony record for a nonviolent drug offense. That were making investments so they can get the training they need to find jobs.
Thats hard. That requires more than just the occasional news report or task force, and theres a bunch of my agenda that would make a difference right now in that. Im under no illusion that under this Congress were going to get massive investments in urban communities. And so well try to find areas where we can make a difference around school reform, and around job training, and around some investments in infrastructure in these communities trying to attract new businesses in.
No Mr. President, the right words for right now are to tell the youth of urban communities, they and they alone have the ability to choose their path in life. Free them from this foul ideology of victimhood. What holds them back from taking advantage of the opportunities in front of them isnt a lack of investment, it is the lack of having their own American Dream.
Beautiful EBH - you're totally right on this...
