Maybe true, but the AllSnake Insurance I know about there is no way anyone will get any settlement the same week of any accident and probably not from any insurer. It simply takes longer.
I say this is BS.

The article said that the surgery happened last week. The filing date for the lumping of the settlement was months ago (last December), and it doesn't say when the accident was.
You may have guessed well, and it may well be BS. But not for the reasons that you cite.
