The story is bad enough but on top of it the writer is illiterate. That sentence alone would have caused a person to flunk fifth grade English back in the fifties. I thought it was bad when people lost the ability to distinguish between there, their and they’re but now they don’t know were from we’re, not to even mention all the other things wrong with that sentence. I propose that we return to teaching English in school...if there is anyone left who is qualified to teach it.
True, but some of the 'autocorrect' gibberish around here makes me cringe.
