They are also moving the Orioles weekend series of May 1-3 against Tampa Bay to Tropicana Field. Not sure what happens after that, but hopefully Baltimore will have settled down by the next time the Orioles are scheduled to be at home.

But, I do wonder what Orioles attendance will be like when they return. Will big numbers of fans be afraid to go into Baltimore City to see a game, especially a night game???

Moving the next series to Tampa is actually a big deal in some ways.

The players who do not maintain their permanent residence in Maryland do not have to report their out-of-state income on their Maryland tax returns, and since Florida has no income tax they don't have to report this income on ANY state tax return.
