I just don’t get the mentality of sh**ting in your own bed...ultimately YOU end up suffering.” I heard one of the MSNBC show hosts saying that some residents are now complaining about how now that the Rite Aid is gone they have no drug store to go to for medicine, that few stores where willing to set up shop there even before this.
A black coworker (college educated) tried to justify the riots to me blaming it on lack of (our $$$) investment in those areas and police murders of blacks without prosecution .
When I told he that they were just hurting themselves he just got madder at me.
