Governor Larry Hogan is closely monitoring the situation in Baltimore City and has been in contact with Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake office to provide the city with whatever resources are required. The Maryland State Police have been dispatched in a supporting role on the ground, as well as other resources and equipment from various state agencies.
“Today’s looting and acts of violence in Baltimore will not be tolerated. In response, I have put the Maryland National Guard on alert so they can be in position to deploy rapidly as needed. I strongly condemn the actions of the offenders who are engaged in direct attacks against innocent civilians, businesses and law enforcement officers. There is a significant difference between protesting and violence and those committing these acts will be prosecuted under the fullest extent of the law.
“My thoughts and prayers go out to the men and women in uniform who are actively working to stem this violence and several who been injured in the line of duty. These malicious attacks against law enforcement and local communities only betray the cause of peaceful citizens seeking answers and justice following the death of Freddie Gray.”

Dozens of Blacks are murdered by Blacks every month just in Chicago. Obama should create a department in the white and hire several dozens of new personal to be sent as Obama’s personal representatives to the funerals of murdered Blacks regardless of the race of the perpetrator. Is for Obama the life of a Black only worthy if the murderer is white, but is worthless is the murderer is Black?
According to FBHI statistics, 84% of white homicide victims were murdered by Blacks. How many times Obama sent his White House personal representatives to the funerals of Whites murdered by Black felons?
Probably not. Worse, I doubt they will actually be deployed and if they are, not until tomorrow.

Fair enough. I have no problem with anyone’s speculation as long as it’s not stated as a fact. When it is I like to find out the sources and evidence so I can use it if it’s credible. We will, indeed, see.
oh, certainly there’s part of me that is very concerned for property and business owners in Baltimore, the decent folks who live there, etc. There are a few nice sections, really lovely, but that is maybe 2% of the city. Its best asset is Johns Hopkins Hospital (I would have added Johns Hopkins Univ before they banned Chick Fil A from the campus).
None of this is going to be corrected in any of our cities so long as folks insist on voting for officials who offer to give them everything, or because they’re the right color/ethnicity/gender/religion. It’s a sad state of affairs.
