Do you mean that because UVerse is coming to you eventually one-day maybe, BellSouth (ATT) won’t provide even the 6 Meg service to you NOW?

(I tried to switch from cable Internet (60/4) to $20 DSL but that lasted less than a week. Ate crow and crawled back.)

I live in a very rural area. BellSouth could provide DSL but won’t because there’s no money in DSL anymore. It’s “last year’s” technology in BellSouth’s eyes. Much more money to be made in Uverse.
