Hardball time...NBC deliberately leaked these latest revelations, in an effort to get Williams to resign and avoid a messy dismissal. But according to various media reports, the network will still have to pay somewhere between $20 and $30 million to get rid of their lying anchor.
However, don’t count Williams completely out. Lester Holt’s ratings have been slipping and ABC’s David Muir is expanding his lead in the desired, 18-54 demographic. Holt is a competent news reader, but he can’t hold an audience, and NBC doesn’t have anyone waiting in the wings. There are enough morally corrupt TV execs who would gladly put Williams back in the anchor chair if they thought he could get them back to #1.
Holt is a piece of leftist crap reader, just like little Davie, the arrogant Scott, the insufferable Gwen/Judy/Mark/David on PBS, and all the rest of the fifth-column toilet media, going back to 'Uncle Walter'.
