“.. the regular folks are creating the atmosphere for the agitators to take advantage”.

I disagree. The regular folks were protesting civilly. That is a Constitutional protection. They were civil, compliant, and well behaved. IMHO.. we have to look at the CLEAR picture of who did what. For example, years ago.. I was at the Tea Party Rally in D.C. It was civil. Say, for example, it was infiltrated by outsiders.. who did violence/burned stuff/threw things at the police when it got dark. Would you say the Tea Partiers “created the atmosphere for the agitators to take advantage?” I am not about violence and I will not ever take the position that civil, peaceful protests should be eliminated for fear that some may take advantage.

Will remind you of one of the signs a Tea Partier carried into DC. It stated, this time we came unarmed. Eventually this corrupt government will be overthrown and many police will be on the side of the revolutionaries. You are being played right now by Marxist agitators who are driving a wedge between police and the citizens they protect. But that is just my opinion.

Cut him some slack, big deal a grammar mistake.

This guy is a good reporter and a friend of Free Republic.

He was showing a blow by blow description in real time on twitter as all this was unfolding.

He covered some of our Tea Party goings on a couple of years ago, and I spend some time talking to him.

Even though he was on a break at the time, in a bar having a beer, he was typing at breakneck speed as he was covering the events we were involved in.

He's brilliant—again big deal, the nit picking on a few grammatical mistakes doesn't justify dissing his excellent work.

Nothing better than to have a conservative covering something like this in real time.

I have seen the images. What is the point you are attempting to make by posting them?

There is text in the transcript of the Bill Whittle opinion piece I posted that I wholly agree with, and applies 100% if the name of Freddie Gray is substituted for Michael Brown. Bill Whittle said: "..."Critics will say that I am using these statistics to justify the murder of Michael Brown. But I said at the beginning – if Michael Brown were shot in cold blood then the police officer needs to pay the price for murder. This has nothing to do with Michael Brown. This has EVERYTHING to do with the narrative that the President, the Attorney General, and all of these race hustlers are trying to create using Michael Brown..."

The fact that Michael Brown got exactly what he deserved and Freddie Gray seems to be a victim of undeserved, deliberate actions of police aside, it still carries the same weight. If the police were responsible, they should pay for their actions, period.

But that has no bearing whatsoever on what has been going on in Baltimore. The fact that there are people who want to see this violence take place has everything to do with it.

Anyone who thinks what happened to this man is okay isn't a voice we need to hear. But the same is true for anyone who blames the violence taking place on the actions of the police.

The problem is that some people are blaming “outsiders” for causing this violence, and that misses the mark, because a large proportion of those peaceful protestors are making common cause with the racial agitators who enable and promote the violence.

I don’t know anything about people being bussed in to cause the violence, it could be true for all I know. But I also know that the majority of people causing violence, damaging cars, throwing object through windows and so on, especially the kids like the ones who attacked and robbed the stupid Russian news people, are not people bussed in.

Do I think these professional agitators exist? Sure, and they encompass all racial representations. But I don’t think they are the root of the problem.

I think anyone who blames it all on professional agitators is being a “useful idiot”.

Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. It's otherwise a good article.

But he needs to know how bad grammar comes across. Don't use bad grammar in everyday speech, and you won't use it in your writing.

I will say it put me right into the action. He's a good reporter.

But he can watch his grammar!

If you run from the police, you need to consider that, you could get shot in the back or hurt in an aggressive take down.

That is true. However beating to death a now secured perp is a different matter entirely. When that is tolerated and accepted then the practice gradually spreads to anyone these cops feel deserves it. And that is a very slippery and dangerous slope. A lot of so called law abiding liberals think this would be perfectly acceptable treatment of a peaceful TEA Party demonstrator. Do you really want to head in that direction?

One day I went downtown alone for lunch and to see the city. I was the only white person in the restaurant. That was no problem for me; I had been the only white person in many situations and was completely comfortable with that. However, the looks and the hostility of the black people were palpable. I was more curious than anything else and did not feel particularly threatened, but I had never felt anything like that before.

So, how was the saliva special?

If you continue to resist, you need to be subdued. If you are in compliance, then no, they should stop the use of force. The problem many times is they are trying to subdue drunks and drug addicts who do not even know where they are. Know someone who was beaten up pretty bad by Long Beach Police over 10 years ago. He was drunk and being a menace. When a short police officer walked into his cell, he stated, so you come to take my lucky charms ? That was why he was beat up and he later realized he kinda deserved it. Police are humans after all.

Was Mr. Zimmerman an agent of the state?

Of course not. What is with your obsession with asking me about Zimmerman? This case has nothing to do with the Zimmerman case.
