New York Post ^ | April 25, 2015

The difference? Harry Reid is no longer running the Senate — and Republican Mitch McConnell has made the place far less dysfunctional.

Just last week, the Senate cast breakthrough votes on a sex-trafficking bill and the confirmation of attorney-general nominee Loretta Lynch.

Frankly, 100% gridlock is preferable to the damage these traitors have done the last fifteen years or so.

Yes, they are passing everything Obama wants. So why have a republican majority? Because they can pass everything Obama wants without the democrats getting blamed. It will be a “bipartisan” effort, so democrats would not get blamed for extreme socialist measures.

Anyone paying attention (another form of 1%?) that was paying attention knew over 350 bills passed by the House were never brought to the Senate floor under Reid. This is only news to the 99% ... The uninformed.

Damage is better than inaction, because progress is our highest priority, even if we progress off a cliff.

The fact that the liberal press thinks this is NEWS is what’s most astonishing. Informed citizens in the real world have known for six years that the principal cause of the Obama deadlock in congress has been Democrats.

By giving in to the Democrats on everything in sight. That's an improvement?

Reid constantly berated the Repub House---but he deliberately sat on some 350 bills Repubs passed to prevent the Senate from voting on them----as a way to protect Dems up for reelection---to insulate Obama from a Repub majority.

Too bad, Harry was forced to fend off Obama's furor in the wake of Obama's humiliating 2014 midterm defeat.

"I hereby dub you a major loser."

==================================================

INSIDER TIDBIT--Obama/Reid feud escalates.

NYT REPORTED Obama called Harry Reid to broach a particularly delicate subject. It was during last year’s government shutdown and standoff with Republicans, but Mr. Obama’s frustration focused on one of their own.

Obama told Reid he suspected David Krone, Mr. Reid’s intensely loyal and influential top aide, of leaking to the news media, and requested that he stay away from future meetings.

It did not take much time for the president’s comments to reach Mr. Reid’s right-hand man. To Mr. Obama’s surprise, Mr. Krone was listening in on the call.

Suddenly, the aide piped up and made it clear to the president that he did not appreciate the accusation.

When Obama and Reid traveled to Nevada, to promote his infamous "immigration action," and allowed Reid to unofficially start his re-election campaign, public harmony contrasted with the private discord between the two men and their staffs....

... much of which has centered on Mr. Krone, a wealthy former cable executive whose defining principle is to defend Mr. Reid at all costs....(Excerpt) Read more at nytimes.com ...
