Yes, I said in another thread that something’s up with all this. I also noted that almost all the recent stories concerning conservatism seem designed to demoralise and divide true conservatives, make us think we’re marginalised (which may well be true, as having any political voice anymore), or present conservatism as something that it’s never been.
This is just more proof that our morals and culture coming apart as a country.
The next “civil rights” front that scares me is normalizing adults that want to have sex with children. Prepare to find yourself ostracized and called a bigot because you don’t support pedophilia. “Love knows no age” or some other bumper-sticker nonsense will be spouted everywhere.

When people have illnesses or conditions involving the brain, as civilization IMPROVES toward loving kindness, we have over the last 150 years grown to appreciate those people as Gd’s children. We’ve stopped putting them in institutions, killing them, mocking them. A child with Down Syndrome, a mom with bipolar, we now support them and want to help them. THIS IS SOCIETY GETING BETTER.
Some people are born -— we don’t know why -— with something wrong with their brains matching their bodies. This is provable by those brain scans. Male brains look a certain way and females another by the way they react on an activity scan. It is clearly possible to be born male but with a female brain. NO ONE WANTS THIS. In fact, half of these people try to kill themselves.
IT IS CIVILIZATION GROWING KINDER that allows us to help kids with Down Syndrome grow and learn to the best of their abilities and it is love and kindness that will allow us to help these deeply unhappy people born like Bruce Jenner.
It is the hallmark of a great civilization how we treat our most helpless members.
