“Mr. Walker said they should return to their countries of origin and apply for legal entry. “”

None of the candidates is saying this only Walker.

Are you listening TED?

I fear he will have more flexibility after the election.

He is #2 on my list of those that have announced

How do you know this time he means what he says, he has a history of bluffing when he deems it politically expedient to do so, and apparently it works as many fold into his camp; so when he is called on his bluff what can he say to those in camp he bluffed... if evidence is any indicator he can simply reply “I’ve Changed My Mind” of course their is plenty of evidence that works for him as well.

Our Free Republic is in dire straights and needs a leader not a poker player whose tell is the bluff, but I get it; that is what some want, another slick willy (who also had a pretty good record as Governor), as time goes on he will become more transparent where most will see right through him.

Yes I am biased by evidence of leadership straight, true and unchanging with the political winds... CRUZ 2016!

After giving a version of his stump speech to a mostly gray-haired crowd in Iowa, Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin was pressed on Friday by two twenty-something Republicans about a percolating issue he did not mention:
How convenient for him to have those 2 twenty some-things in a sea of gray asking about an unmentioned percolating issue.

Why wasn't the "percolating issue" mentioned before?

He is speaking about future policy. We have already been hit with enough “immigrants” to transform the nation politically. Who can we trust to offload?

Jeff Sessions and Steve King, that’s about it for my trust list on illegal alien issues.

Talk is cheap.

Some of you Walker people need to stop taking cheapo’s at Cruz. Most of the Cruz supporters (myself included) think Walker is ok and would be a decent choice were he to be the nominee, but there is one distinction I would make between the two of them that is important to me: TRUST.

I TRUST Ted Cruz will do what he says.

Scott Walker has done some great things in WI, but on this particular issue of illegal immigration, he’s been all over the map. Just a month ago he gave a speech that appeared to be taking the Establishment position, then when that didn’t pan out he gives a statement such as this.

Mitt Romney said the exact same thing in 2008 when he was trying to distinguish himself from McCain on the issue, but 4 years later, CIR was apart of the proposed Romney agenda.

I hope Ted does the right thing and follows Walker’s lead on illegal immigration.

Words are great but actions matter more.

Sadly I no longer trust Republicans after Boehner/Mcconnel betrayed Conservatives on this and other issues.

So, under President Walker, how. does. that. happen?

I prefer Cruz, but Walker's pronouncements are way more specific than Cruz, and in spite of us Cruz bots best efforts to say it's not so, he's now to the right (and correctly so) of Ted Cruz on legal AND illegal immigration.

I understand why people would be skeptical, but let's remember that Ronald Reagan as governor signed an abortion bill, and as president signed the first amnesty bill.

What is the NYT’s problem with a 24 yo calling himself “young”, when they accepted CommieCare’s definition of 26 yo as “children”?

I’m not in any camp yet (though I already know who I won’t vote for no matter what, like Jebbie)-we’ve got a long long time for these people to say things and do things which will hopefully help us clarify what they would really do in office, unless they’re all just blatant liars now, with some of them being better at it than others.

“I TRUST Ted Cruz will do what he says.”

What does he say he will do with illegal aliens? Walker has spoken up, Ted is dancing around the question.

All the republicans running need to speak up. This is the number one issue.

Yes. I don’t support unions, but as I’ve said before, it’s interesting that the only item on the conservative agenda which has made any headway is hitting the unions.

Or in a bad year for rats, or with a ticking-time bomb rat candidate like Hillary, they try to get the RINO most acceptable to them, just in case.

How can people not know this?

It’s not the Same as an investigative times reporter going after hil

He also said he favored “making sure the legal immigration system is based on making our No. 1 priority to protect American workers and their wages.’’''

Both Mr. Staudt and Mr. Failor asked the governor what he would do about the millions of undocumented workers already in the country. Mr. Walker said they should return to their countries of origin and apply for legal entry.

I guess I’m not in a camp either at this point. Cruz was the only one standing against amnesty, now we seem to have two. Walker’s new position is what I’ve been saying for years, so I like it, but what took him so long?

The essential thing is to elect a President who WILL enforce the laws.
We’ve seen the disaster of ones who won’t.

Rubio, Bush, Huckabee, Perry have already shown me they care more about fraudulently documented foreigners than they do about the citizens. I will not vote for national suicide, which is what amnesty is. I did not vote for McCain, though I did hold my nose for Romney. Romney at least was saying the right things even if I didn’t believe him.
