AND: 28 "But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart."

Now that last verse is pretty tough, as almost every man commits, some several times a day. I know I do and have, and must ask for forgiveness and strength to overcome it. BUT--and here's the important part!--I do recognize that adultery is sinful and wrong, and I DO NOT ask God to bless my sinful behavior, nor ask His followers, that is, Christians to celebrate it because I think it is OK.

Only hypocrites excuse homosexual sex as a sin but not other kinds of sins. ALL are sins! To ask a church or Christian to excuse sin of any kind is simply wrong. Of course we love all men as our neighbor, just as our Lord asks us to, but we do not love the sin itself.

Neither do any of we “homophobes”, the misnomer label hung on those of us who call sin a sin.

God finds ANY sexual sin particularly offensive. I cannot find where He declares homosexual sin more offensive than other sexual sin. He designed the joy of sexual activity for husband and wife exclusively, and any perversion, from lust, to porn, to fornication, to masturbation, adultery, homosexuality, etc., of that design is sexual sin.

Well, let’s see what God says about homosexuality.

Romans 1:..
22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools.. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy.

Note also that Romans 1:32 points out that those who approve of such conduct are just as guilty as those who engage in it.

What did Jesus say about homosexuals. I’ve checked the entire New Testament and can’t find a single thing one way or the other.

Just to clarify, I am asking what Jesus said. To be sure, Scripture is against homosexuality. I was just looking to see if I missed anything Jesus said about it in the Gospels. I can’t find a thing. It just strikes me as weird that Jesus never made mention of it, unless I missed it.

Unpack the question, “Is God a homophobe?” and its underlying assumption comes to light. The question can be translated, “Does God conform to some standard higher than God?” As soon as we ask that question, we’ve robbed God of His deity, since God by definition can have nothing above Him.

Jesus came to save the “ungodly” (ALL of us). However, He didn’t just come to save us from the penalty (hell) of sin, but from its’ domination over us (from sin itself). The Lord Jesus is in the business of saving souls and the lives they lead thereafter. He would be a poor savior to merely forgive sin, and leave the sinner an unchanged sinner. 49. "`Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy.
50. They were haughty and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen.

I once responded to someone supporting the notion that if one is against homosexuallity, then you are homophobic, by countering if they supported paedophilia, and they said no, to which I then said they were paedophilia-phobic, to which I added “See how simple that was?”.

He seemed to get how ignorant the whole homophobic label was.
