The NBA opened the first training academy of a professional US basketball league in Cuba on Thursday, made possible by the diplomatic thaw between Washington and Havana, reported dpa.

I would have thought that MLB would have been first to Cuba.
That is what I was thinking. Or maybe some resort outfit, like “Sandals” or something. But the NBA? That’s a head scratcher.

None of the three are Americans and therefore each is eager to help pull us down with socialism/communism. Nash is a big time Canadian socialist lefty and the other two are there for show. The NBA is 80% Black and therefore at least 75% socialist Democrat thug. The liberal Whites that run the NBA have beaten baseball in showing how liberal they are but they won’t say a word about real life in Cuba - never!

I don’t understand. Are they trying to set up a Cuban team? If they have to come here to play, won’t they all defect? The Havana Defectors! Besides, I thought they were baseballers down there. Like the average Cuban subject has big extra cash to buy NBA-level-price tickets, I don’t think so.
