I can't recall any victories for conservatism since the Republicans won the Senate. Content-wise, it feels like the democrats are still in control.

Obamacare was fully funded, the IRS is still free to abuse American citizens, subtle amnesty continues unchecked. It shows the one difference between the two parties. Democrats will dig their heels in, use whatever tools they have, make noise and put up a fight for what they want. Republicans will ask democrats if they can have something and then meekly slither away into a corner and wet themselves when told "no".
