Agree.

There are more immigrants in this country than ever before. They’re not encouraged to assimilate-—rather, the opposite. We’re swamped.

When whites become a minority, we’re going to look back fondly on the days of Republican presidents.

Having lived in SoCal for many decades I’m way more familiar with this than I care to be. Old stock white Americans are very much a minority now. This is a colony of the 3rd world, legal as well as illegal. From all over the globe, and at best semi-assimilated. The numbers are large enough that the American culture we grew up with is somewhat of a novelty.

There is often an undercurrent of hostility against America even amongst the “good” legal immigrant communities. I used to have the opportunity to see their ethnic newspapers on a regular basis and you didn’t have to look far to find some article with the theme that white Americans are intolerant racists and things of that sort. And I’m not talking about the huge Mexican community saying this. These are educated and wealthy 3rd world immigrants.

I recall a Chinese girl selected as valedictorian at UC Irvine one year whose speech could have been written by one of Obama’s race baiting pals. Not a shred of thanks to America for providing her with a great education.

So pessimism... it’s not that it’s just facing reality, seeing things as they are playing out here. And will be playing out all over what used to be called the United States before its time came to an end by means of immigration.
