I agree. I would like to know exactly what he said too. Call ma paranoid, but I am coming to believe that all politicans, to play in the national leagues, are getting the idea that they must soft-pedal or say one thing to one audience and another to another audience, to get the big money required in order to run. I also am questioning why he would be at a function hosted by homosexuals.

Me too- I’m hoping Ted is cut from a different cloth and that he is as strong as I hope he is, and this is why when I see soemthign like this article by the times, I get a ‘little nervous’ because I don’t want to find out that he or any candidate waffles on this or any other conservative issue- I personally think the NYT put words in his mouth by claiming Ted said he would have no problem if... but perhaps he did say that- I HOPE not-

I personally believe the answer should have been along htel iens of “Of course I would have a problem if my daughter were gay because homosexuality is an abomination in the sight of the Lord, and I want only the best for my children, and if they choose less than best, then they risk punishment by God for their choices, and God has clearly said He WILL punish homosexuals, and that is not what I would want for her because I love her- I would still love her if she were gay, but it would break my heart knowing she is making a choice that would mean being punished by God- But of course I’d still love her if she were gay- what kind of question was that? There would be NO question I would still love her”,

Me too. Could it be $$$$?

I'd like to hear him speak to this.

*side note ... ah, memories!* In my college days, my roommate and I were invited to a party, neither of us with any idea that it was a party of lesbians, mostly athletes, at the school. Wow. Talk about weird. We booked as soon as we figured it out -- we were so naïve it took us about an hour! Waiting for the guys -- any guys! -- to show up! {^)

Not that that's what happened to Cruz, he had to have known. Just FYI, mrsmel, I have had and still have many openly homosexual friends and acquaintances, starting from about the age of 16, my first boss. So while I abhor the homosexual agenda whose sole force is government, I continue to love and tolerate the individuals I know who, for whatever reason, have taken that path.

Cruz had a reason for going, and it was probably a good one and a moral one.
