I don't have much of a problem believing this part:

There are lots of self-identified Christians out there who apparently think that instead of salt and light, they are called to be vinegar and water. Some of them frequent the threads at FR.

Had you actually taken the time to read it, one hopes you would not have naturally been so knee-jerk inclined to write something so stupid and condemnatory.

Why don't you just go ahead and take that time now to finally read the article, and study carefully what she has said.

We'll all stand by ready to listen for your comments that are (hopefully) revised and extended -- only this time written with a tad more evidence of studied wisdom.
