The cynic in me cannot help but ask — does this mean Bobby Jindal is not running for President?
I’m about as big a cynic as can be when it comes to our modern crop of GOP leaders. However, I’ve long gotten the sense that Jindal is just plainly the type that would ‘not’ be bending over and cowtowing to these kind of pressures. Plus, Louisiana historically and culturally has always had a sort of hard-nosed populist strain, in which threats from big-corporate CEO’s would more likely breed anger and opposition than compliance.
