Sen Jeff Flake email on DOJ nominee
Email from Sen Flake | 21 April 2015 | Jeff Flake

Posted on 04/22/2015 3:08:54 PM PDT by Mr Rogers

A response to my email sent earlier to Sen McFlake, Democrat-lite from Arizona:

"As you may know, on November 7, 2014, President Obama nominated Loretta Lynch to replace Attorney General Eric Holder. On February 26, 2015, the United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary voted to approve Ms. Lynch's nomination by a vote of 12 to 8. I voted in favor of her nomination.

I believe that elections have consequences and that elected presidents should be afforded a certain degree of deference in the presidential appointment process, particularly when the nominee is uniquely qualified. While I disagree with Ms. Lynch on a number of issues, including her views on the President's executive action on immigration, she is nonetheless well-qualified for the position. "

I also "believe that elections have consequences", which is why I helped elect a supposed Tea Party conservative to the Senate - to advise and consent (or not) to candidates for Executive positions in a balance of power.

I also now fully understand that McFlake is a total traitor to conservative ideas and a doormat for the Democrats who, to give them credit, actually FIGHT for their side!

If anyone wants to know why I don't value being loyal to the GOP, my answer is Sen Jeff Flake, Republican from Arizona...

Except when you elect a spineless GOP Senator. They seem to think the role the voters sent them to DC for is rubber stamping whatever a rogue president wants.

Arizona’s Senators defy the American people,
and in their stead have created the Benghazi ATROCITY,
ISIS and their coverups.

The GOP can be trusted as much as Obola, whom they
protect from the initial fraud ... to today.

Elections have consequences. Senators don’t have spines. We vote for R and all we get is D or maybe even T for Traitor. It appears to me that it is no longer of any efficacy to vote.

AZ voters knew they were getting another cheap labor importer when they elected Flake, his record was clear. They re-elected McCain after he twice tried to jam amnesty through and threw a Presidential election.

WTF?

Oh, did we repeal the 17th Amendment while I wasn't paying attention, and we no longer ELECT senators?

It’s so maddening. They all have the same word-for-word garbage they send out to their constituents.

If Presidents were just supposed to have whatever nominees they wanted, there would be no confirmation process.

Elections do have consequences and hopefully the people of Arizona throw you out. Amazing the home state of Barry Goldwater becomes McLame and a Flake
RINOS need to be an endangered species in elections

I for one am truly embarrassed that our state elected McLame and Flake. My only consolation is that I no longer live in Calif and take no responsibility for the two idiot elected by that state

elected presidents should be afforded a certain degree of deference in the presidential appointment process, particularly when the nominee is uniquely qualified.

I have never understood how being unusually competent or qualified should be considered a plus, IF what you want to do is negative.

Won't that just mean more efficiency in your negativism?

I refer to legislators like Flake as a GOPES (Government Over the People Elite Statist) because it rhymes with dopes.

We send these &^%$#@*(^$ to Congress to protect US from excesses by the Executive branch because that’s their job. only to have them turn on US.

How about starting a recall petition ? If I lived there I’d sign it.

Elections have consequences. I guess he was just appointed by the president to rubber stamp his nominees? So sick of this Party.

Do these people even remember what the Democrats position on the nomination of John Ashcroft was?

I'm tired of all these "high road" Republicans who always give away the store and then gleefully hang the Kick Me sign on their backs.
