In fairness, most governors support policies like these — because they want wealthy foreigners to invest in their state. In return, these rich foreigners get visas — and perhaps a better shot at citizenship. And, for what it’s worth, the Milwaukee Journal notes that “The Wisconsin Economic Development Corp., under Gov. Scott Walker, has encouraged the Chinese to invest in Wisconsin.”

Another crony capitalist pay to play, Government picking winners and losers scheme.

TADSLOS, I will have to tell you I considered this. I didn’t fire off on it because it is legal, and I know governors do what they can to spark economic growth in their states.

If a wealthy guy comes over and starts up a business here, investments and all, I’m not going to trash the idea.

I do have concerns along the lines of what you stated. I’ll admit to that. I’m not certain it is justified, so I opted out.

Doesn’t mean I’m right.

What I do know is that Walker lied, and I don’t care to be lied to. Others just love to be lied to. Others love to read articles they know are based on nothing but fabrication.

I have to answer to my own conscience.
