The hip-hop “I’m Lovin’ It” marketing campaign was brand suicide. It was obvious when they first launched it the the early 2000s.

The only time I see the inside of the McD’s now is when someone posts a video of some feral counter beatdown on WorldStar HipHop.

Many years go we stopped at a McDonalds in a heavily black area. The staff were a mixture of white an black workers.

On the paper mat they put on our tray, was a contest...”WIN A FREE TRIP TO THE MOTHER COUNTRY!” with a drawing of Africa and the area around the Congo, Nigeria,Cameroon area.

Wonder whom McDs was pandering to? I never saw such a mat in any other McDonalds except there.

I'm giving you a big thumbs up on that one, their ads and marketing was going into the toilet twenty years ago when I worked there.
