In N.H., 'accessible' Hillary Clinton ignores supporters

KEENE, N.H. — Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, who has vowed to be
“accessible” to New Hampshire voters, left many of her rain-soaked supporters here high and dry when she sped in and out of a public meeting without so much as a hello.

“It should have been
advertised that we’re not allowed to see her,” said Keene resident Michelle Isabelle.

“People are the ones that are voting for her, so if she’s running and not meeting people, then what’s the sense of coming here?” Isabelle said. “I really believe in her but I’m ... actually perturbed right now.”

Clinton came here for her first stop in the Granite State since announcing her 2016 Oval Office campaign. The former U.S. secretary of state toured Whitney Brothers, a family-owned children’s furniture business, and huddled with employees for a much-publicized roundtable — but never pressed the flesh with several dozen people huddled outside.

Most of the ignored backers were also young — a key demographic for the former first lady.

“If I was running, I would want to meet the people that I’m going to be supporting and serving, get their input on what they would like to see personally. She’s running for president. She should be able to want to meet the people themselves,” said Kammara Gagne, 20, of Keene.

“I mean, we’re standing out in the rain waiting for her and then all of a sudden, she’s just running from us,” Gagne said. “It’s like, why are you running?”

Clinton will appear in Concord today for another small roundtable with students and educators at a community college.

“I want people to know that I’m listening and I’m accessible, and that I’m running a campaign that is about the needs of the people in New Hampshire and the families of New Hampshire,” Clinton said. “That’s the kind of campaign I want to run.”

She held court for almost an hour before speaking with reporters for less than two minutes, using most of the time to fend off questions about an upcoming book that promises to detail foreign government donations to her family’s foundation.

“We’re back into the political season and therefore we will be subjected to all kinds of distraction and attacks,” she said. “And I’m ready for that. I know that that comes, unfortunately, with the territory.”

If New Hampshire voters are anything like Iowa voters, that’ll go over like catnip in a dog pound.

You Won’t Believe What Hillary Clinton’s Own Supporters Are Saying About Her Campaign

"Hillary Clinton’s listening tour of “Everyday America” has been mocked and analyzed by countless critics. But some of the craziest things said about Hillary’s campaign have come from her own aides and supporters.

Here’s Glenn Thrush reporting in THE POLITICO:

>>>> When I asked one top staffer on Hillary Clinton’s campaign to pick the high point of her overwhelmingly understated 2016 campaign kickoff in Iowa, the person paused for a moment, then shot back – “The Aaron Hernandez verdict!”

The former New England Patriot’s conviction on murder charges punted Clinton’s two-day pastoral tour of the critical caucus state off of cable news, a blessing to a campaign that craved the softest of soft launches. Wednesday’s legal drama, coupled with the Monday media blitz by Florida Sen. Marco Rubio — who wanted to soak up the spotlight Clinton preferred to avoid — were welcome diversions for a team premiering not just a candidate but an updated approach to the oldest Clinton problem of all: dealing with people like me.<<<<

It’s kind of amazing that a “top staffer” would admit on the record that the high point of his candidate’s rollout was a former NFL star’s conviction on murder charges. On the other hand, it’s perfectly in keeping with Hillary’s strategy of running for president without actually running for president. This top staffer was probably the same “Democrat familiar with her thinking” who told THE POLITICO’s Mike Allen that Hillary was “better off as a non-candidate.”

As bizarre as this sounds, it’s basically true, given that Hillary’s popularity seems to be inversely correlated with the amount of time she spends in the public spotlight. Also, she’s terrible off the cuff. We can all look forward to her inevitable refusal to debate her Republican opponent in the general election: “The American people don’t want to listen to us argue about politics, they want us to listen to them talk about what really matters in their lives.” And then it’s off to the Scooby Van for another “listening tour.”

Clinton supporters assure us that this low-key approach is all part of a gradual “ramp-up” that will conclude in a crescendo of nuclear-grade passion and artistic genius—or something like that.

Here’s Ruby Cramer reporting in BuzzFeed:.............."

She’s running from you because she doesn’t give a rats rear end about anything YOU care about. You’re just too damned stupid to know it. It’s Hildebeast all day, every day....the peasants be damned. You are the mere plank over which Her Cankleness walks on to reach her Ship of State. Deal with it.

She (was) using most of the time to fend off questions about an upcoming book that promises to detail foreign government donations to her family’s foundation.

There has been much coverage about the upcoming book, and the above statement from the article is putting it mildly. She "sold" her influence to foreign governments as Sec. of State, for donations to the Clinton Foundation. Many of these governments oppress and enslave women and execute homosexuals; two of the largest segments of her voting base.

I've not heard anyone say who is the author of the "upcoming book". Does anybody know who it might be?

Can you imagine, even for a second, Bill Clinton ignoring a crowd like that? As much as I dislike him, he’s the most gifted natural politician of his generation. That man knows how to work a crowd. Hillary, not so much.

“....“During Hillary’s years of public service, the Clintons have conducted or facilitated hundreds of large transactions,” writes author Peter Schweizer, according to The New York Times, which first reported the story.

“Some of these transactions have put millions in their own pockets.”

Schweizer — a former speech-writing consultant for President George W. Bush — said he found a clear “pattern of financial transactions involving the Clintons that occurred contemporaneous with favorable US policy decisions benefiting those providing the funds.”.....

This is what happens when you have a “Rock Star” who thinks that they are haughtily above the little minions who adore them. Sooner or later the fanatics realize that their rock star is only out for their own self aggrandizement and could care less about those who worship them.

Hillary, and her cult, is the epitome of such mental disorder.

When Scott Walker went after Hillary, it didn't sit well with Megyn Kelly.

I watched this 7:00 interview. It was one of Megyn Kelly's "holding my nose while I'm working to make you look stupid" bits.

But it didn't pan out that way.

You believe in her? What for? Shes thoroughly corrupt, greedy, a liar, and thirsty for power. Isabelle, you’re a moron for being one of her supporters. And the way she treated you on the campaign trail is only a small taste of how she will treat you, others, and the country if she is elected. She is in this race only for herself, her ego and narcissism, and her corrupted wealthy supporters who will be the only ones who stand to gain if she is elected.

Remember when Hillary was running for NY Senator how she was made out to be 'untouchable' ??? Rick Lazio, my district House Rep, and a generally decent guy, approached her during a debate with the proposition that she be 'honest' ... well, the MSM uproar was apocalyptic(!!!) ... how dare this little ant of a congressman confront "The Queen" !!!

Hillary is nothing more than a wannabe egotist with nothing to offer .. an empty pantsuit, as it were ... if the MSM is turning against her then Cheers for that .. they finally figured it out.

“If I was running, I would want to meet the people that I’m going to be supporting and serving..."

The word, "serving" should bring to voters minds the server she wiped clean. Nixon was pilloried (Hillaried?) by the, Legacy Media (Washington Post) for an 18 minute gap in his, "private" recordings of governmental activity. Hillary's server? Meh.

Bob McDonnell, former governor of Virginia, was fully covered by the Washington Post for, "corruption" for giving access to a Virginia business man in, "exchange" for a Rolex, a golf bag an Armani dress... The Clinton's "charitable fund" gets only passing mention in spite of it's questionable donors and spending.

Hillary will evade and elude the people and the press won't bat an eye.

I tried to see Hillary Monday at Whitney Brothers. I remember seeing mostly older, retired folks, no young people at that event.

The young lady who wrote this blog is a friend of a friend. This was very similar to my experience, except I didn’t even try to talk to a guard to get in.

Sure - but you'll vote for her anyway. No matter what.
Like blacks - Democrats can screw them right and left and they still pull that "D" lever.
