Liberals Sputter As Scott Walker Proposes Bold New Immigration Platform
breitbart.com ^ | 4/21/15 | Matthew Boyle

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, a likely 2016 GOP presidential candidate, is marching forward with his bold new pro-American worker immigration policy. He’s not afraid to push for a legal immigration system that doesn’t box out American workers with a massive influx of inexpensive foreign labor.

After first rolling out his new ideas on Glenn Beck’s radio program on Monday, Walker appeared on Fox News’ Megyn Kelly’s show to further elaborate on how he hopes to protect Americans economically from special interests pushing for a massive influx in cheap foreign labor from around the world.

“When it comes to immigration, as a governor I don’t have any direct role in that—but having talked to border state governors and having talked to other people, seeing how screwed up immigration has become under this president, it was clear to me talking to them and listening on this issue, traveling to the border actually going there with the governor of Texas Gov. Abbott, seeing the problems there, yeah from my standpoint going forward we need to secure the border, we need to enforce the laws that we currently have with an e-verify system,” Walker said.

“You’re pretty much in line with the other Republican candidates on this,” Kelly asked as a follow-up.

“Well the one thing they’re not saying is we need to make sure as part of that any future legal immigration system that goes forward has to account for American citizens and the workers of this country and their wages to make sure that even with legal immigration in this country we respond to it in a way that doesn’t take jobs away from hardworking Americans,” Walker added, separating himself from the rest of the 2016 field.

Ted Cruz said:

"The amendment that I introduced removed the path to citizenship, but it did not change the underlying work permit from the Gang of Eight,” he said during a recent visit to El Paso. Cruz also noted that he had not called for deportation or, as Mitt Romney famously advocated, self-deportation."

Scott Walker is the only politician who has stated that he is for reducing LEGAL IMMIGRATION. sure some have said they are for stopping illegal immigration but only Walker has said he is for reducing legal immigrants
Walker is the only politician who has said he will reduce Legal immigration as well as stop illegal immigration. I believe Walker is pro American as his record shows

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3281362/posts

Others like Jeb bush SAY they want to let the whole 3rd world move to the USA

Plus Walker has also passed more conservative and pro American laws than anyone in history . check his record. this shows who he is a pro American conservative

You are right that poster is spamming this site and is a socialist.

Folks are welcome to view the video linked at Post 2 on this thread. They can judge for themselves.

Socialist agenda? That’s what you Walkers supporters call telling the truth about Walker?

That’s actually funny, because when people go look at the video and listen to what Walker says, they’ll know who you are and who I am. At the end of the day, they will know who is telling the truth. They will know what type of person supports Walker here.

Walker supported the McCain/Kennedy bill in 2006/07. He admits it on the video.
Walker supported illegals paying a fine and staying in the U. S. in 2013.

Then Walker did an interview with Chris Wallace on 03/01/15.

In that video interview, Walker admits to supporting McCain/Kennedy. 2006/07
In that interview it shows him explaining his policy that would have illegals pay a fine and stay in country. 2013
In that interview he is asked if he still thinks they could stay if they paid a fine. He responds saying something to the effect, I’m sure we can find a way. 03/01/2015

All three of these policies are the same. It’s the McCain/Kennedy blueprint.

Directly after saying he believes he could find a way for them to stay (03/01/2015), he then says he has changed his policy.

People not paying close attention may think he’s telling the truth and fall for his claim.

His claim can’t be true, because he has just admitted to, and laid out three points in his life where he supported the same exact policy. 2006/07, 2013, 2015...

I urge folks to go watch the video. You’re done here.

Have you ever been informed about an idea and changed your view? Or were you born with the absolute perfect perspective on everything? Some folks admit they need to change...perhaps we need you as president...someone perfect.
If you're satisfied with an Etch-A-Sketch politician, that's fine; I have no quarrel with another person's preferences. However, we tried that in 2012 and it didn't work out too well.

Ted Cruz is the only candidate that has not backed illegal immigrants staying in our nation. That is not verified on the video, but Scott’s policy is.

Now I’m a loud mouth because I have had the audacity to tell the truth about Scott. That’s actually funny, because when people go look at the video and listen to what Walker says, they’ll know who you are and who I am. At the end of the day, they will know who is telling the truth. Scot Walker is the ONLY politician who understands that it's not just illegal immigration that is the problem but also legal immigration is a huge problem as there are too many legal immigrants moving to America courtesy of the 1965 immigration act. you don't even understand that.

You want us to believe that Walker's record of passing many conservative and pro-American laws has been all an act and that he is really lying now and an anti-American mole. We don't buy your lies. We look at his actions that show he is pro American. you are just a socialist as you take the exact same position that the liberal news media does in smearing Scott Walker.

Scott Walker has the strongest position against legal and illegal immigration of any politician. And also Scott Walker has passed more conservative laws than the 20 next politicians combined(Fact check his record on Google of laws he passed).

and you are just spamming this site and ruining it. no one wants to read your dribble especially when it’s a 100 posts per thread taking over the thread .

Hey, Jerky!

I watched the video. Scott Walker clearly says "...not through amnesty.."

But you would rather LIE like a liberal than admit the truth....Walker has ENACTED conservatism on every issue his whole career...including immigration, where he stopped in-state tuition for illegals and outlawed sanctuary cities.

Walker was one of the first governors to join the lawsuit against Obama's efforts to stop enforcement against illegal immigration.

So, DoughtyOne is a PROVEN TOTAL LIAR, FRAUD and TROLL!!!!

Those who continue their squatting, should never get the right to vote. Illegally crossing our border and unlawful presence in the United States should be a felony. Anyone who commits a felony forfeits their right to vote.

You folks are so desperate that you can’t even admit to what Walker says in plain English.

You’re playing smoke and mirrors games, and it’s not working.

Walker buried himself.

You can play the little 1965 immigration act games all you want. Folks here know enough about immigration that you’ll simply look like a fool for your efforts.

We have illegals here. They need to go home. Scott Walker says he can find a way for them to pay a fine and stay. He’s done and so are you.

Folks are welcome to view the video linked at Post 2 on this thread. They can judge for themselves.

but when a guy tries to make a big deal out of a new immigration policy and his minions go out to fool everyone on the topic, I resent it.

It is possible that he has had a genuine epiphany, I had one once.

Okay, I cannot read or listen now, but I will follow up. And, if he wants a “fine” to allow illegals to stay, then shame on him and he will not get my support. I understood that he changed on this and no longer felt they should be allowed to stay. Can’t quote an article, so I may have misunderstood. Thanks for providing more info.

I wouldn’t disagree with the possiblity, but I think if you read this post and then go to post 2 linked at the bottom, it becomes quite clear he didn’t have one.

His views in 2006/07, 2013, and now 2015 are the same.

You’re smart enough to see through it.

Check this out and then use the link to post 2 and the video.

Scott Walker has done nothing to help illegals but the opposite. actions , results mean everything. words especially yours mean nothing

Walker has passed many conservative laws including taking action against illegals. Walker's actions, results, record show who he is a pro-American conservative . but you lie and say he is for amnesty to smear him
