Officials at Mitchell Primary School are apologizing after a book about a transgender child was read to most of the school’s K-3 students.
Criticism flooded the district after Fox News host Sean Hannity posted about the lesson on his website, prompted by a Mitchell school mother who was angry she wasn’t given advanced warning that teachers were reading students the book “I am Jazz” by Jessica Herthel and Jazz Jennings, the news site reports.
The book details the struggles of a child “with a boy’s body and a girl’s brain,” who eventually finds a doctor that tells the family the boy is a transgender.
The mother said she tried to approach school officials about her concerns but was given the cold shoulder.
“When I spoke with the principal he was very cold about it,” she said. “It’s amazing how thoughtless the school has been with this whole thing.”
“All information has been posted on the school’s guidance blog for parent review.”
That blog, written by guidance counselor Dana Richerich, contends “some people may think primary school students are too young to worry about addressing issues surrounding gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) students. Not so, experts say. It’s never too early to begin teaching children about respecting differences.”

Yes, 100% true. Lets vote in “conservatives”, who get elected by lying running as a conservative, and then turning out to be a liberal progressive socialist in disguise. We’ve only tried to vote them out for the past 40 years. It’s gotten worse. Voter fraud is now rampant, the leftist movement now has 95% of the media in their beds. Voting went out the window a long time ago, however not many seem to understand it. Clinging to the idea that it is possible for a corrupted government to save itself. That idea is now a pipe dream.
You have the MSM either blatantly ignoring, or slamming any person worthy of governing within the boundaries clearly laid out by the Constitution. But keep telling people to vote them out. They aren’t going anywhere. I hope you get it, and soon. It may be too late.

Only a LIEberal could say teaching transgenderism to someone is about “accepting differences”.
But, not, of course, the differences between boys and girls. They're supposed to pretend there aren't any, especially when they run into a kid of the opposite sex in the school bathroom.
The only way to eliminate this crap is to tar and feather the school administrators who promote this trash. These people are corruptors of children.

There is already enough problem with youth in our country today having been so brain scrambled and exposed to such crap, we don’t need some dumbass “intellect” causing more brain damage to the kids. Of children who think they are the opposite gender, 70%-80% of them spontaneously lost those feelings.

Once again “educators” prove that they are abusing children and should be reported to the Child Protective Services. Of course, they are underpaid, overworked and doing it “for the children”.
Indeed, but here’s the problem with the “born that way” reasoning. The predisposition and the behavior are not the same. In most other given issues besides same-gender attraction, psychology does acknowledge a separation between a desire to drink alcohol and actually drinking it, or a separation between a desire to get your new fix of whatever substance and the actual behavior. If anything, engaging in the behavior intensifies the appetite, weaning off the behavior lessens the appetite.
Comparison to animals? Given the cannibalistic tendencies of primates, I personally don’t like animal comparisons. People don’t have to act like animals even if they have the same urges.
