FDR was not anti-semitic. His administration had more Jewish cabinet members and advisors than any previous presidential administration in the nations history. There was a huge amount of anti semitism expressed by Roosevelt's opposition, spearheaded by Father Coughlin. This is in large part why Jews have been solidly Democratic ever since.

Coughlin spearheaded the opposition to FDR? No. He was once a huge supporter of FDR who soured on him over the New Deals results. An organization called the National Union for Social Justice was the spearhead of GOP opposition, when they were not affiliated with the GOP? which called for bank nationalization and criticized capitalism as heavily as communism?

American Jews are not a homogeneous lot. The NY contingent are especially odious in their political views.
But the liberal NY Jews have a real problem today. Israeli Jews love Ted Cruz and vice versa. The NY liberal Jews hate Israeli Jews and Ted Cruz.
I’ve already placed my bets on whose going to win this beauty contest.
