BS. Those historians you speak of were not in the front lines but rather comfortably ensconced in their academic easy chairs while smoking leftist Utopian weed.

These discussions have been aired out ad nauseum and your love affair with these historian wimps will not change the truth. And the truth is that without the sacrifice of hundreds and hundreds of thousands of American lives far more Jewish lives would have been lost.

Your “hero” FDR was “not on the front lines” either. He wouldn’t listen to Churchill until it was almost too late.

I don't know what you are even talking about, but clearly you're all set to go off rather than looking at Wyman or the others. It has nothing at all to do with "hundreds of thousands of American lives." It has to do with policies HERE that would have a) admitted Jewish refugees more easily; b) minor changes in immigration laws that would have permitted easier Jewish immigration; and c) changes in American embassies in neutral countries.

You seem eager to go off without even understanding the context of people like Wyman and their "academic easy chairs."

I don't know of a single point Wyman makes that in one iota would have affected Americans fighting at the front. Care to cite specifics?
