Legal immigration does the same thing. You don't bring in 1.1 million legal immigrants a year without affecting the supply of labor. Since 1990 we have brought in 30 million legal immigrants. Is it any wonder that we have the lowest labor participation rates in 38 years or that American wages have been depressed for decades? Immigrants, legal and illegal, are taking American jobs.
No wonder our schools, roads, and everything else is crowded.
Are you intentionally missing the point?
The 11 to 20 Million ILLEGAL Immigrants have a SIGNIFICANTLY GREATER IMPACT on wages than the 1 million legal immigrants.
