Michelle Obama decided to start celebrating Mothers Day early with a trip Saturday to a swanky New York City eatery.
Secret Service flanked the first lady and her mother, Marian Robinson, as they hit celebrity chef Mario Batalis Lupa restaurant and enjoyed a five-course meal. The food looked nothing like the slop Obama wants to serve Americas school children.
The meals the pair indulged in start at $65 per person with an additional $49 to add wine.

and we thought the clinton's were grifters
I wonder how much this lunch cost us with travel and such.
No ties on the Secret Service agents? They look sloppy, just like the people they take on outings. I watched the video at the link. I wonder if that fat black agent(?) who appeared to be walking around to the passenger side of the car is the one Moochie’s supposed to be involved with.
No kidding, the obamas have taken mooching to a new, all-time level.
And Bambam complains because his First Lady doesn’t get a salary.
If she were salaried, she probably couldn’t afford those prices with the frequency she does now unsalaried, because the taxpayers are the ones picking up those tabs.
You’re welcome, Michelle.
[Notice the absence of a ‘thank you’.]
I should have said “dogs” instead of people in my earlier comment.
“The meals the pair indulged in start at $65 per person.”
Sixty five bucks per person is lower mid-range for brunch in NYC. You can eat cheaper, but more expensive than that is plentiful.
The forty five bucks for a wine is just the on the Mogen David side of Boone’s Farm.
In the current vernacular, isn’t she — by eating Italian food — expropriating white culture?
Lupa’s is not swanky.
It’s good.
To celebrate Obama mother’s day celebration, I’m taking my crew to Golden Corral. I can’t afford to eat at Mario’s restaurant.
