Carly Fiorina destroyed 2 companies (Lucent and HP) - are you sure you want her to work on the US next? Are we pushing her because she’s female or because she has the best ideas? Consider her record, not what the media tells you to consider.

Well, the whole HP thing is not settled. Regardless, I like Carly - that does not mean I will vote for her - but she is bold, does not mind being blunt but not reckless. She says things, you wish a candidate would say. She is exactly what the GOP needs someone to say, gets good press coverage and her comments are repeated on the news. There is no downside to her being a candidate. She knows she will not win the nomination, but is perhaps running to secure another spot...perhaps a cabinet position, perhaps not. I like her, though.

“Are we pushing her because she’s female or because she has the best ideas?”

I am at the present moment favorably inclined toward her, although perhaps not for president, because she said, “Managers are people who do the best they can within the existing system,” Fiorina argued. “Leaders are people who do not accept what is broken just because it has been that way for a long time.”

I have no previous recollection, at any time during my 6.4 decades of participation in this circus, of any woman other than Margaret Thatcher and Golda Meir, of a woman displaying this degree of understanding of leadership.

Of course, she could just be repeating something she heard somewhere.
