lineage. In fact, I am sure we all did. It is part of
the human story.
Even if everyone did have slavery in their family (which I am not willing to accept) that’s no justification to put us all on the hook for reparations to the current generation of perpetual victims. And I believe that’s what discussions like this are designed for...to make us all think we all benefitted from slavery. We did not. The ones who benefitted are behind this movement to make everyone share their (justified) guilt, so as to lighten the hit on their pockets.
