Tonight I am starting the book of Genesis with my bible study group it’s gonna long and very interesting study. Then tomorrow I have ton of house chosers to do Sunday is church follower by celebrate Patriots day.
When you get to the stories of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, consider the viewpoint that Abraham represents God the Father, Isaac as Jesus, and Abraham’s assistant finding a bride for Isaac as the Holy Spirit. And finally, consider Jacob as representing the dual warring nature of the redeemed man. Esau, of course represents the unrepentant, unredeemed man of the world.
We studied that in Bible college and it was amazing how much the story bexame engrossing to us students.
