Slam me for being irreverent, but Rush is becoming so irrelevant in his choice of topics and the inordinate amount of time and segments he spends babbling on and on about them...and repeating himself.

A consistent listener for over 20 years, I speak more in sorrow than anger, believe me.

I wasted 45 minutes already on the ESPN babe...and I have better things to do. This is happening too much lately, approx the past half-year he's become more of a social/cultural commentator and specialist in a lot of unimportant fluff.

One can always tell dull Rush programs by dull Rush FR threads....lots of personal gossip and small talk by the ladies, whereas in days of yore we always had great threads stimulated by Rush's topics and analysis.

Today, Rome is burning while Rush fiddles.

I understand your sentiment. I am finding it harder and harder to listen. I still do out of respect for his leading the creation of the conservative talk radio industry, however we now have so much talent available to us that it is getting easier and easier to be more choosey in our listening time.
