Former President George W. Bush is about to have another grandchild to boss him around.
Jenna Bush Hager is expecting her second daughter with husband Henry Hager, she announced Monday on the “Today” show.
The baby girl, due in August, will join almost 2-year-old sister, Mila.
Bush Hager, 33, revealed that her father already takes orders from his first granddaughter, saying of the 43rd president, “He goes by ‘Jefe,’ which means ‘boss’ in Spanish.”
“But really what happens is that Mila just bosses Jefe around. I mean, she’s bossy. She’s like, ‘Jefe, sit down. Jefe, tea. Jefe, coffee.’ ”
Asked by co-anchor Tamron Hall if she encourages her daughter’s bossy tendencies, the “Today” show special correspondent replied yes, saying, “She’s precocious and bossy. I like a strong little lady.”
“That’s a great visual,” co-anchor Willie Geist said, “Little Mila bossing the one-time leader of the free world."

How about “another member of the oligarchy”? Does that make the derisive comment comprehensible?
The mother uses two last names and is proud of her eldest daughter bossing her father, a former US president, around. What does this say about the family’s sense of entitlement and control over others? Clue: it’s their birthright.

EVER been around a two year old? The toddler is learning to talk, is probably the apple of “jefe’s” eye...and he enjoyed playing “kitchen” with her (tea! Coffee!)

Please note that the article named her “Jenna Bush Hager” not “Bush-Hager.” She uses her maiden name as a middle name, like most traditional wives. The article probably used the maiden name in order to let the reader know WHO the article is about.
Have you ever been around a two year old who was being raised to boss adults around? The toddler is not playing so much as learning that her will is triumvirate to others. This is what is being taught in her family.
Oligarchy is a political system. When firmly established it is also a class -the ruling class. An oligarchy does not represent people -it rules them. It is only rational that a member of the oligarchy would raise their children to impose their will upon others.
Some people prefer rulers to representatives. They are typically liberals, democrats and communists.
Well considering I have five children of my own, and one “bossy” 2 and half year old granddaughter...yes.
My four sons NEVER went thru the BossyTwos as they were NOT as verbal until well after three years old. Girls seem to master the language quicker, and their garbled-yet real-commands are funny as opposed to “triumvirate.” I bet little Mila (I like that name a lot!) “fights” her nap time and “demands” her juice box.
My non-ogilarch gbaby EMPHATICALLY tells me “the pink playdoh not da green Mimi!” when playing:-)

PS, our 2nd granddaughter is also due this summer (late July)...she’ll be the baby sis to the PlayDoh boss mentioned above.

Can’t believe your youngest is THREE already...time is flying by waaaay too fast.
We giggle at the ogilarchic demands here...but then we do get to “give her back” at pre-set time. “Bug” has her 17 year old Uncle well trained...but then he has said his niece is a “chick magnet” for his HS girlfriends...LOLZ.
