Blue Bird of Happiness
Bye Bye Birdie
When the Bird of Paradise flies up your nose
Mockingbird Hill
His eyes are on the Sparrow
There’ll be bluebirds over the white cliffs of Dover

I had a jazz show on WVGS for 3 years.Weather Report was often featured, but for some reason, every week I got calls, 'Play Birdland! Play Birdland!'
I just kinda got tired of it, because they've done so many more superior things, I finally played every version of Birdland I had available.
Original Weather Report version, Weather Report live version, Maynard Ferguson version, Manhattan Transfer version, Playboy Jazz Festival version, and then I never played it again.

Thank you for mentioning Anne Murray— Snowbird. I desperately wanted to sing like her when I was a girl. Alas, I am not really an alto.
