Democrats should shun Reid and Pelosi....they have given the United States Government a pretty bad name and one humongous black eye. They are beyond disreputable; they are vile.

Harry stills run the Senate, even in the minority.
How come McConnell never figured out how to do this?
It’s a rhetorical question.

So the Minority Leader can force a vote? Where’s McConnel been for the past 6 years while 300+ plus bills were languishing on Reids desk? Don’t answer that it was a rhetorical question.

R Lee Ermey will fix his little Jack Wagon...
To: afraidfortherepublic
Don't worry. McConnell will come up with a compromise scheme to allow a vote unless a 2/3rds majority votes to not allow the vote, but first the vote to not allow the vote must be voted on cloture with a 3/5th majority vote to allow the vote to not vote.

Every senator has the right and power to call for debate on any subject. They forego this right out of deference to long-standing protocol that the majority leader have control.
