Mexico's civil protection agency says that the material can cause death within hours or days if mishandled.

Recall that a year or 2 ago the medical equipment that was on the truck that was stolen south of the border and eventually found in central Mexico in a farm field with its casing open and the material removed.

Not overtly focused on in media reports was the fact that the truck was stolen in Tijuana. And not just stolen, but hijacked at gunpoint. But I believe it was called an ‘unintentional theft’ (of clearly labeled radioactive components).

Mexico is a failed State and our government is enabling it to the public’s peril.
