Hillary Clinton has a new position on same-sex marriage (guaranteed constitutional right)
CNN ^ | April 15, 2015 | Dan Merica

As recently as a year ago, Hillary Clinton was sparring with a public radio host about her position on same-sex marriage, defending her past reticence to discuss the issue and falling well short of full-throated support. Now, in a markedly new position, Clinton is offering just that, calling gay marriage a right afforded by the Constitution.

"Hillary Clinton supports marriage equality and hopes the Supreme Court will come down on the side of same-sex couples being guaranteed that constitutional right," said Adrienne Elrod, a Clinton spokeswoman, in a statement.

This is an entirely new position for Clinton.

Oh yes. Still loved by the pinkos and perverts in the so-called "entertainment" industry.

And an inspiration to the Democrat leadership:

It’s election time again, and once again we’re seeing how divided our country has become. When one looks closely at the make up of our two major political parties, we find that the Democrat party is nothing but a loose coalition (mob) of Godless Communists, socialists, criminals, perverts, race-baiters, welfare parasites, dilettantes, opportunists, pseudo intellectuals, and the feeble minded, and the Republican party is made up mostly of those Americans desperately trying to hold on to the Judeo-Christian morality of our Founding Fathers.

IMHO, Hillary Clinton will make as appropriate a standard bearer for this Democrat mob as has the current homosexual Kenyan Muslim.

Hillary and the Left will continue to capitalize on the peoples’ ignorance of the Constitution. That ignorance must change if we are to renew the mandatory authority of the Constitution, which protects our God-given freedoms, as written and originally understood and intended.

The Constitution doesn’t define our rights. As confirmed by the mandatory authority of the Ninth and Tenth Amendments and the persuasive authority of the Declaration of Independence, our rights are presumed as God-given and inalienable.

The Constitution mainly defines and enumerates the limited powers of the federal government. Most of the feds’ activities and departments are unconstitutional - outside the limited powers the Constitution delegates to the feds. Unconstitutional federal acts are by definition acts of tyranny since the feds have no legitimate legal power outside the Constitution, the supreme Law of the Land (Art VI, Sec 2). Among other things, the feds have NO constitutional power to interfere with marriage.

The reason the feds are able to operate mostly outside the Constitution is that the people have deliberately not been educated about this most precious and brilliant political document ever made. It is up to We the People to take ownership of OUR Constitution which is the only legal guardian of OUR freedom, learn it, and via the states demand the feds stay within its limits.

Like it or not the Constitution says what 5 blackrobed tenured government employees say it says.

It goes beyond that, the percentage of the population that stands to benefit from a demise of religion has grown, and is growing, with that in mind, plenty of individuals see no reason to oppose or defend religion. Second, plenty of individuals are currently in situations that put them in a case of state dependency, those who cohabitate without marriage are more likely to support the same agenda. Third, there is an increasing introversion in society, now that people can burn their time on video games inside air conditioned homes. No offense, but sometimes the old days pushed you to be more aware of what was going on around you.

Our problems are multilayered and multifaceted. Our need for spiritual reawakening which is a great need, does not preclude our need to revive and restore the Constitution as the supreme Law of the Land.

"Hillary Clinton supports marriage equality and hopes the Supreme Court will come down on the side of same-sex couples being guaranteed that constitutional right," -------------------------------

There is a problem here...

Couples don't have constitutional rights. Individuals do.

This is not about Equality, this is about Sophistry.

No one in the United States or anywhere for that matter is or has been denied the right to marry.

Gay men and women as well as heterosexuals have been enjoying the right to get married in America since our country's founding.

FRiends, we already have marriage equality.

all your Rights were bestowed upon you by your Creator. no govt agency can give or take them away... only suppress them.

additionally, you can exercise ALL your Rights sitting alone on a desserted island.

at no point an your a Rights require an action by another individual. if that were the case, you’d be infringing on the Rights of the other person.

as such, marriage is not a Right... it’s a ceremony conducted by an organization. you have no Right to join the organization nor do you have any Right to demand that organization to perform the ceremony for you.
