"...Mr. Walker is the top presidential choice for 24 percent of GOP primary voters, according to the poll out Wednesday from the Democratic firm Public Policy Polling.

....Mr. Walker was viewed most favorably by GOP primary voters; 57 percent had a favorable opinion of him, compared to 13 percent who had an unfavorable opinion. He also led among a swath of the potential primary electorate, winning over GOP voters who identified themselves as “moderate,” “somewhat conservative” and “very conservative.”....

Also in NH: The results of a new NH1 survey conducted by the Republican firm Reach Communications from April 8 – 9 suggests that Walker’s appeal to the Republican electorate in this critical Northeaster state continues to grow.

And in SC: Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush lead the Republican field... 13.6 percent and 12.7 percent, respectively, the spring Winthrop University poll shows.

Cruz or lose! If Walker gets the nod, I’ll vote full 3rd party ticket. Only way I’m voting GOP from here out is if Cruz is the nominee, and that begrudgingly, due to the “R” next to his name.

Good grief, what nonsense.

Cruz is great, but saying you'd vote for someone else if Walker wins is just moronic.

No wonder we lose so often.

Cruz is in ideal position. Doing too well to be ignored, but not well enough to be a target. Walker is going to be the focus of all the yellow journalism with these numbers. If he survives it, frankly, he deserves the nomination. Cruz just needs to be where he is at and engage in retail politics until the fall when the debates start and he can parry the attacks and talk directly to the people.

Fight hard to put a REAL Conservative forward. Otherwise, the GOP gets what it deserves. I love my Country far too much to keep voting for the lesser of evils. THAT, my FRiend, is moronic. I will vote for Cruz in the primaries. If he gets the nod, I'll vote for him in the general. He WILL BE the ONLY GOP candidate to get my vote in 2016. The GOP is dead. We have been shafted far too long by the cronies. I'm done. You wanna keep getting screwed? That's your problem. I'm done with it. BTW, your argument is as wore out as "it's Bush's fault". Lol. You prolly voted for McStain and Romulan both. BAHAHAHA!!!! Like battered women's syndrome....but I LOVE the GOP...

You’re a real winner. Not.

That’s an idiotic attitude.

Why? It's apparent that you would probably be more comfortable someplace like DU. All voting GOP has done, for the past 15 years, is shift the GOP further to the left. You like getting screwed? Fine with me. I'm done.

Sorry, but voting GOP over and over again, expecting a different result, just because, well, GOP...that is idiotic.

Just so you’re aware, criticizing this guy’s thoughts qualifies you as a Cruz-hating RINO on FR.

Note this is before...

* The Boston Media Machine chews all the candidates up and re-digest them like they are the cows multiple stomachs.
* This is before, Mass residents go up and deem they will move to NH and cast a provisional ballet.

Therefor, I predict they will fubar NH for us just like 08' as they gave us McCain.

So with that said, I expect Huckabee or Christie to win NH...

Cruz/Walker, -or- Walker/Cruz. Either way drives a wedge into the GOP-E and DNC machine. The divide and conquer strategy worked very well for the established powers in DC the last two elections, and with the mindset you seem to have, may just work well again.

My point is, don’t be swayed by the political shills out there, put all that you have behind the candidates that you want to win. The goal is to get our candidates through the door, with whatever means we have at our disposal.

Walker is a no-go for me as well.

If people who consider themselves a Conservative, can’t distinguish the difference between Scott Walker and Ted Cruz, then this nation is truly done.

This same —— takes place every four years. One idiot is adopted by a significant enough group that the best guy loses the delegates he could have gotten, and the most Liberal Republican wins.

Folks, please wake the hell up. We should be talking up one guy, not a bunch of them.

If we talk up a bunch or even two candidates, we will be splitting our support, giving the RNC and GOPe the biggest favor we could give them.

Agreed. Which is why I've donated to Cruz, will donate more to Cruz, and my family & friends are getting tired of hearing me talk about Cruz, and I will vote for Cruz in the primaries. Bottom line? Walker is decent. He's done a good job in Wisconsin. But he's NOT a real Conservative. The only true Conservative in the race at this point is Cruz. Walker is a GOPe candidate, make no mistake. I'm through with voting for the establishment. I won't do it. I've been doing it for over 20 years, and I'm done with it. There is NO DIFFERENCE between the GOP and the left. 2 sides of the same coin. It's like asking whether you want mayo or mustard on your crap sammich. I'm tired of eating crap sammiches. Done, in fact.

FINALLY! Someone with a little common sense! I’ll be honest, I was ready to vote straight 3rd party in 2016, but Cruz is in, and as much as I despise the “R” next to his name (the GOP stands against everything America should stand for, after all), I’m going to do all I can to see to it he’s the candidate. I truly believe Cruz is the real deal - a real CONSERVATIVE, and that is the one and only reason I’m going to support him. There is clearly too many RINO loving, battered women sydrome, low info, America hating leftists here on FR. It breaks my heart, to be completely honest.

You should rethink that. I’m all-in for Cruz at the moment too but if he gets knocked out by Walker, I don’t have a problem supporting him.

So in other words, you’re going to do your best with that idiotic attitude to make sure that Jeb Bush is the candidate, Cruz goes off to lick his wounds, and the Dem wins.

Sorry, but that's just BS. Vote CONSERVATIVE, or get what you deserve. Walker is pro-amnesty. No way he'll secure the border, or our gun rights. He might be great as far as economic/business issues. I'll give him that, but he is far too close to the GOPe. Not gonna happen.
