Here’s one way to win the adoration of the Internet: launch an entire agency dedicated to making you look good.
This, according to a fascinating report in The Guardian, is a method that the pectoral stunt double and Russian President Vladimir Putin has adopted in an attempt to sway the hearts and minds of his countryfolk.
The Kremlin allegedly runs a troll agency in a nondescript building in St. Petersburg, employing hundreds of paid bloggers and commenters to mock Western leaders like President Barack Obama and spread pro-Russian sentiment — especially regarding the country’s ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
Per the report, which details discussions from two former employees of the agency:

I knew I had a typo. Great catch. I get sick of people saying America is no more free than Putin’s Russia. Name an opposition party, an opposition network, or an opposition newspaper in Russia. Yes, we all know the Liberal media is out there. They were out there during the Cold War, too. But Conservatives didn’t bad mouth their own country then to sound like some sophomoric college students having a bull session.

I agree. Yet we were not then and are not now a nation, like Putinstan (formerly known as Russia). Why some people suddenly want to run downt the country I love because it has people we don’t agree with in it is beyond me.
Look at what I said. Can you find anything there that hasn’t been said repeatedly by the very same conservative commentators and publications you mention? Does the MSM troll for Obama and the left, or not? ...Maybe a little less caffeine in the morning would get your knees under control. I’m not arguing your point that Russia has become a totalitarian government that controls propaganda, nor am I saying the US is a totalitarian government, ...yet. I’m pointing out that we have a media system in this country that is organized to defend Obama and the left, and attack the opposition you mention.
