PC out, I'd recommend this:

You just pop in your old drive pretty much like bread goes
into a toaster. Your new PC will read the old HD just
fine. Then you move files to your new PC.
Pretty handy to have, especially if you have some HDs
in some other PCs and want to glean files from them.
