MEXICO CITY — The White House announced on Tuesday that President Obama intends to remove Cuba from the American government’s list of nations that sponsor terrorism, eliminating a major obstacle to the restoration of diplomatic relations after decades of hostilities.

The decision to remove Cuba from the list represents a crucial step in President Obama’s effort to turn the page on a Cold War-era dispute.

It came after a much-anticipated meeting between Mr. Obama and President Raúl Castro of Cuba on the sidelines of the Summit of the Americas meeting in Panama over the weekend, the first such formal session between the leaders of the two countries in more than a half-century.

Exactly what has Cuba done to merit its removal from the terrorist nation list?

Helped get Obama elected?

Turning pages?

Is that what he’s doing?

I’d say its more like

Pissing on the graves of all those who rejected Castro..

Died and remain imprisoned.

And “Revoluzione!” Ugh “Transformaziones!”

If I heard correctly on the radio this week, the Castro regime has arrested 800 political dissenters since Obungo made his “normalization” statement last December.

Shame on you Obama.

One other thing. Coincidentally (or is it?) one of the cable channels was running The Godfather Series reruns this weekend. Made me think that Oblecho is likely mobbed-up to the teeth, re-paying political favors, setting himself up for lucrative kickbacks etc.

Of course he is. Also give them a huge amount of cash. Raul Castro this weekend demanded both.

I look to see many of the prisoners to be released to in bunches.

I wonder..he could give Cuba all the prisoners and then Cuba could release them all at once. Then bammy could say I didn’t release them, after all America stole Gitmo and it was just to give it back to them.

A perfect plan if you think about it.

Counting Castro's Victims

"On May 27, [1966,] 166 Cubans -- civilians and members of the military -- were executed and submitted to medical procedures of blood extraction of an average of seven pints per person. This blood is sold to Communist Vietnam at a rate of $50 per pint with the dual purpose of obtaining hard currency and contributing to the Vietcong Communist aggression.

"A pint of blood is equivalent to half a liter. Extracting this amount of blood from a person sentenced to death produces cerebral anemia and a state of unconsciousness and paralysis. Once the blood is extracted, the person is taken by two militiamen on a stretcher to the location where the execution takes place."

"...Cuban reconciliation won't come easy, even if Fidel's ruthless, money-grubbing little brother Raul is somehow pushed aside. One painful step in the process will require facing the truth of all that has gone on in the name of social justice. As the report cited above shows, it is bound to be a gruesome tale."

Anybody remember when Cuba had special operation troops in Anglola, I think it was? If they were sending them out then, then they’re sending them out now.
