After enduring this past winter’s sub arctic weather, I would probably make it OK.
The forward cargo hold on a 737 is climate-controlled and pressurized. Pets and the like fly up there. My wife was a former baggage handler for Horizon/Alaska.
The statement from Alaska say that his co-workers did try to find him and even called his cellphone and texted him, but received no reply. He’d been at work since 5am and was supposed to get off at around the time the plane took off.
The statement further said he passed a drug test. Not that it’s really gonna matter...he’s likely unemployed at this point.
If he was in cargo, he could open up luggage and put clothes on.
Sorry, that’s not correct. They do transport pets in the cargo bays, and liquids and other things that would be ruined by freezing.
