Most if not all states have abuse laws on the books in relation to children, elderly, and the disabled unable to mentally understand or function at the age of majority. This is not an act a real mother does. She may have given birth to him but a mother she isn’t. She had legal means to safely surrender her legal obligation and chose to do this instead.
