The Japanese failed to pass out iodide tablets to their population, because they denied there was a meltdown for three months. Then for over three years they denied complete meltdown. Now we know the worse case scenario occurred in reactors 1 and 2 due to recent muon detectors. Complete 100 % meltdown of reactor 1. Near 100 % meltdown of reactor 2. And 3 obviously blew up into the air. They still do know where the melted fuel is. That robot was supposed to help them find it. My suggestion, look in the decade animal bodies washing up along the Pacific shores of Japan and North America. And look at the thyroids of their own people.

A disaster compounded by denial. Governments don’t like to admit fault or failure so people suffer. Tragic.
