8 Reasons Hillary Clinton’s Campaign Will Be A Trainwreck

Hillary Clinton has announced what everyone’s known for years: She’s running for the Democratic nomination for president. Anyone not a Democratic partisan who was old enough to be mildly cognizant by the late 1990s is sighing. After all the scandals and lies and claims of victim status, do we really need to go through all that again?
Clinton’s announcement on April 12 comes 16 years to the day after a “Federal judge held President Clinton in contempt of court … saying he had willfully provided false testimony under oath” in a sexual misconduct lawsuit. Yes, the Clinton 1990s were full of absolutely salacious details (I’d avoid footnotes 210 and 237 of the Starr Report) about sexual harassment, regular fundraising scandals involving foreign countries, many lost documents, crony capitalism and everything else. But it was exciting enough the first time. I’m not entirely sure we can handle the second round.
Anyway, here are a few things to look forward to with the very tiring news that a tired Hillary Clinton is running again for president.
1. Reporters Will Never Ask Hard Questions About Hillary’s Record
Yesterday a New York Times political reporter wondered why only Hillary was being pressed by the press to answer why she wants to be president.
The tweet links to a Washington Post article by Dan Balz addressing the question. I jokingly responded, “I’ll take ‘because it’s such a puffball question’ for $400,

HSBC Leak Exposes Shady Clinton Associates Washington Free Beacon ^ | February 9, 2015 | Andrew Stiles / FR Posted by lbryce
A massive leak of documents from HSBCs Swiss banking arm has revealed an array of sketchy dealings with wealthy individuals, including dictators and arms traffickers, through which the bank helped unsavory characters dodge taxes and avoid government scrutiny.
Among the unsavory characters exposed in the leak are a number of prominent donors to the Clinton Foundation. For example, the leaked documents detailed a five million Swiss franc cash transaction to British business mogul Richard Caring:
HSBC staff explained handing Caring the huge sum of cash by quoting a statement by him that he planned to deposit the cash with another Swiss bank, and did not want either bank to be aware of the other. They wrote: RC goes to great lengths to maintain discretion.
The files show Caring, a major donor to British politics, transferring $1 million to the Clinton Foundation, a nonprofit set up by the former U.S. President Bill Clinton with the stated mission to strengthen the capacity of people in the United States and throughout the world to meet the challenges of global interdependence. One of the most common M/L T/E scams is one foundation writing a check to another foundation----the check receiver takes a cut then deposits the rest offshore for the donor's use later---all tax-free.
======================================================
We learn a lot from Madoff. When he went to jail, investigators found Ponzi King Bernie Madoff had stashed billions offshore---into a labyrinth of financial entities. Some $8.9 billion was funneled to Madoff through a dozen so-called feeder funds based in Europe, the Caribbean and Central America......a labyrinth of hedge funds, management companies and service providers that, to unsuspecting outsiders, seemed to compose a formidable system of checks and balances.
Although he was jailed for running a Ponzi, Madoff's main purpose was helping billionaire foundations launder money and evade taxes

CLINTON CONNECTION TO SECRET SWISS BANK ACCOUNTS The Clinton foundations also accepted a $25,000 donation....... and Epstein wire-transferred Clinton's foundation $3.5 MILLION from a Swiss bank account.
INCONVENIENT FACTOID FOR HILLARY Bill Clinton and Jeffrey Epstein flew on Epsteins private jet in 2002 to meet with the Sultan of Brunei.....one of the richest men in the world.
Hollywood hotshots recently protested the Sultan's ownership of the posh Beverly Hills Hotel and his embrace of Sharia law. The Sultan has announced he plans to execute homosexuals.
The National Enquirer reported flight logs reveal Epstein before he was arrested and jailed for soliciting teenage masseuses picked up Clinton at a Japanese naval airport. Also onboard the orgy jet were two alleged madames for Epsteins kiddie sex ring.
The mega-rich Sultan later donated between $1-5 million to the Clinton Presidential Library in Arkansas.

Get worried if you start hearing about "this one weird trick" and Hillary's campaign.

Good article, but the logic in #1 is hard to follow. If the press doesn’t ask hard questions and the public doesn’t object to the softballs, then her campaign may be a “train wreck” for the country, but it would be a coronation for her.

It's sad, but look no further than some of the post here on FR. There are only two Republicans that have stepped up but you can find a slew of negative comments about either one here. Throw Jeb Bush's name in and it really gets ugly. My preference is to have an open mind and see what the platforms are. I would prefer a strict conservative; but I will probably have to settle for less. One thing for sure, I will not sit home and I will not throw my vote away on third party candidate...

Barry Obama used to use that trick with his magic bus. He’d fly from place to place and ride into town on his fancy black bus that we bought him.

You are just trying to get me to reconsider, JH.
And, I am with you on the sarcasm tag thing.
The way I see it is if I need to include a “/s”
thingy then somebody probably landed at the
wrong website.

She makes me cringe just typing this.

Using words like honest and trustworthy to describe Ms. Clinton, is an oxymoron.
Calling her presidential material//her turn/the Inevitable choice of the left, would "require the willing suspension of disbelief"....don'tchathink?
