If he was not doing well, wouldn’t he still be able to drop out of the presidential race and run for Senate in 2016.
I am not sure I understand what the colors and numbers mean. Can someone explain. Not a betting person.
The Twelfth Amendment makes it difficult for both the presidential and vice presidential candidates to be from the same state when that state has a large number of Electoral college votes.
Unless I am mistaken, the Florida primary is fairly early in the process.

As I mentioned earlier, Cheney got around this in 2000 by declaring his legal residence in Wyoming even though he was living in Texas. Not sure if Rubio could pull this off, but Jeb could probably claim a legal residence at any Bush family property in ME, TX, or wherever else.
Rubio desperately wanted to be Romney's running mate. He's all about personal ambition, not ideology or principles.

Oh he’s plenty Hispanic. Because he’s pro-amnesty. Cruz, however, is not because he is pro-United States.

The numbers on ‘entitlements’ and who is supporting the rest of the country is dismal. If you are a white male, you can support everyone with the taxes stolen from you but will still be discriminated against and vilified.

In spite of the "Hispanic" and "Latino" hype from the Left, there really isn't that much affinity between Cuban-Americans (who are typically middle class or affluent) and Mexicans (either Chicanos or Mexican immigrants), who are overwhelmingly poor. Until recently, Cuban-Americans were overwhelmingly Republican, while Chicanos vote Democratic. The only thing they have in common is their language.
Having said that, you're right in that the acceptability of a candidate to La Raza has more to do with the amnesty issue than anything else. Jeb Bush is basically an honorary "Hispanic" too.

They’re not anymore? I thought they were the one smart Hispanic group and came here to actually be Americans, as opposed to just to take from us while retaining their own culture and having disdain for ours.
That would be sad if that too has changed.
The point being, however, that Cuban-American voting patterns aren't all that different from Anglo-American voters, in contrast to other "minorities" who are disproportionately Democrat voters (including, oddly enough, many Americans from south and east Asia, in spite of doing quite well economically)
