What a bunch of dummasses.

There’s a correlation because those who are more at risk of being murdered are more likely to buy a gun to protect themselves.

Geese...

” Let’s see the raw data and then correlate ownership with: 1) family income, 2) sex of head of household, 3) ethnicity, and 4) age distribution. Wonder what that might reveal.”
____________

And....don’t leave me hanging. What do these factors have to do with anything?

We know that if a liberal has a cellphone the chances of them dying in an automobile accident while texting increases a THOUSAND FOLD.

Therefore, ban cellphones.

We reverting back to tired old and disproven arguments?

No wonder the article is an unattributed wire report from AP.

No.

Much like Global Warming™, there is a predetermined outcome. They only use stats that will point toward this outcome. All other stats that point away from their predetermined outcome are canned.

Location too. Liberal demographics increases the odds substantially. Ethnicity alone will get you a lot of mileage tho...

Translation:

Gun owners are too stupid and unhinged to be allowed to own guns.

Maybe it isn't the regular guys they should be concerned about.

Oklahoma Deputy Who Killed Unarmed Man Thought He Was Firing Taser, Authorities Say

If the official statement was to be believed, a deputy-involved shooting of a suspect in Tulsa during an altercation with police earlier this month was hardly unusual.

“As the suspect continued to struggle with Deputies, the Reserve Deputy discharged his firearm striking the suspect,” a news release from the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office states. “The suspect was treated at the scene by EMSA ambulance and has been transported to an area hospital.”

Notably absent from officials’ original account, however, was the fact that the suspect — a 44-year-old unarmed black man named Eric Harris — died of his wounds shortly thereafter and that the man who shot him — a 73-year-old white reserve deputy named Robert Bates — claims he never even intended to pull out his gun in the first place.

What did he intend to do?

Two days after the April 2 shooting, Bates told the Tulsa World that he thought he was holding a Taser the moment he discharged his weapon.

Well, it’s also probably bogus since the “smart” people tend to include “children” up to 24yo when firearms are involved but the drowning stats usually stop around 16yo. In any case, stats are adjusted to meet desired outcome. Kinda like glow-bull discombobulation.

Crawfish have been in season for weeks now.

Yummy...

I've already had them several times, a couple of corporate events that are the best, free bugs and suds.

UPS may deliver?

What’s interesting is, why is the AP pushing this now? This article sites research from 20 years ago then goes on to bemoan the fact that the Feds cut research money on this subject. Very little of the article actually covers subject in the headline.

Indeed, it doesn’t EVEN cover the subject in the headline as the article refers to ‘homicide’ and not ‘murder’.

Note that they don’t specify legal gun owners, just gun owners in general and they are evidently lumping anyone in possession of a firearm, legal or not as gun owners. Yeah, most of the deaths involve someone with a gun but usually not legal possession of a firearm and usually connected to gang activity and crimes being committed by the “owner”.

Bullshit manipulation of terms and associated stats.

I’ve always had a feeling that those obituaries..”John doe died hat his home last week..” or “”accidentally shot himself while cleaning his pistol..” is more than just accidents.
