The Hypocrisy of Ron Paul ".........Sadly, the hypocrisy of "Dr. No" doesn't end with deceptive campaign ads about his record and the betrayal of his purported libertarian principles. He is also a downright fraud when it comes to big-government spending. While representing himself for decades as the sworn enemy of overspending, the good doctor has had his snout deep in the earmark trough. In 2007, the Wall Street Journal reported, "The Congressman disclosed his requests this year for about $400 million worth of federal funding for no fewer than 65 earmarks. They include such urgent national wartime priorities as an $8 million request for the marketing of wild American shrimp and $2.3 million to fund shrimp-fishing research." And this is the man who had the effrontery to berate Ronald Reagan for deficit spending."....

You are correct. Voted against every appropriation bill, but made sure they were chocked full of his earmarks.

Ron can sure be a hypocrite.

Like his son, he is right on some things but totally misses on others. The ones they seem to miss on are too great a threat to our national security and stability.

you may be right but is it fair to watch all these other colleagues take home the goodies and you take nothing for your district even though those same folks are paying for the earmarks. I’d love to see clean bills only, without earmarks or added addendums.
